2003 6.0 powerstroke hot no start
[Archive] 6.0 cranks but will not start!!! 6.0 Powerstroke. Update: I pulled the valve cover to inspect #8 injector and replace dummy plug and stand pipe and I found the injector solenoid screw broke off gone and the injector in two pieces I got it out replaced it but it all back together and it's the same as before crank no start icp all good I might pull the other valve cover tommorow.
It recently had a hpop replacement, icp & ipr replaced. It has new oil cooler, egr delete, coolant filter, blue spring. I returned to the shop that did the hpop and the mechanic could not figure it out. An 03 hot no start is typically an Hpop. You would need to air test the system to know for sure but commonly you could also have failing top injector oring's or a failed stand pipe oring. Jason99 Definitely check icp voltage koeo, these are a huge issue on an 03 with the icp sensor located under the turbo.

at lunch i tried again and it started. it has been doing this a no start will not be caused by p02289 p02289 is usually caused by a sensor signal circuit shorted to voltage in the wiring harness between the turbo an the oil filter housing . Pull the icp out of the right cylinder head and check oil pressure when hot and no start is ocurring you probobly have a bad hpop and shorted wiring. 2003 F350 6.0 L Diesel no crank but will start with the bypass wire starter relay has power on terminal 30 but none on 85 key on Fuse F2.36 is good F2.22 is good F2.133 has power PCM power Relay C21620 has power on both terminal i can't find fuse 61 10 Jan 2013 I have a 2003 F250 6.0 and I have been having an issue of no start after hot. when cold it fires up in mere seconds. It recently had a hpop 1 Dec 2010 Engine starts fine when cold, but sometimes after driving it for a distance sufficient for it to warm up it will not start. Starter turns motor fine.

He told me there is a regulator that allows pressure to build up and he said if that regulator has something stuck or keeping it open it will cause it from starting, but one thing i forgot to ask him were that regulator is located and what its called.

have installed new 23 amp glow plugs, glow plug wiring assembly, glow plug relay, fuel injector # XXXXX and 4 and new egr valve. will crank but no fire. any ideas on source of a problem would be helpful.
